The Cotop Group of Companies were founded in 1980 when Cotop International B.V. came into existence. Initially Cotop has focussed on the distribution of an extensive line of medical disposables related to Radiofrequency treatment of chronic pain. When more and more scientific studies were published on chronic pain and its treatment, Cotop started growing in the second half of the nineties, expanding its activities to related fields. With a modern approach we have been able to manage this growth very well. Cotop now exports to various countries around the world through an exclusive distributors network. In The Netherlands and in Switzerland Cotop is the exclusive distributor for Radionics-products.

One of the most important goals for the Cotop Group is to be innovative and to be first in new technologies and techniques that are now evolving so rapidly in the fast moving world of pain treatment. Cotop enjoys an active co-operation with highly qualified doctors worldwide. Working with these doctors enables us to understand the demands and to live up to doctors' requirements. A good example of innovation is the newest Pulsed Radiofrequency technique (PRF), also referred to as EMF. Cotop closely co-operated with Radionics to develop PRF.

High quality is also of great importance to us. Our disposables for example, are of outstanding quality, not only to facilitate easy handling but also to reduce the patient's discomfort during the procedure to a minimum. The related equipment is, of course, also of the highest quality.

Now, Cotop is run by a group of young and motivated people, for whom service and personal contact are very important issues.
