the needs of the orthopedic rehabilitation and incontinence
treatment medical markets through the development, manufacturing
and marketing of innovative, cost effective biomedical products and services.
Over the years, we concentrated our products on the physical
rehabilitation market, working primarily through physical therapists
to reach patients. With the introduction of orthotic devices, we
recently broadened our market into orthopedic rehabilitation, and
began to call on physicians as another way to reach the patient.
On-going product development emphasizes products that meet the needs
of the orthotic market while maintaining the technology which enabled
Empi to become the market leader in the physical rehabilitation market.
